About Flag Rush

Sixty seconds, one grid

A country name appears and you tap its flag in the grid. A find scores one point and the next name comes up at once. A wrong tap costs three seconds and crosses that flag out, so it cannot be charged twice; Skip moves on for nothing. The run ends when the clock runs out or the level has no flags left.

Bigger grids, more flags

Easy shows 12 flags at a time, drawn from the 50 best-known countries. Medium puts 20 on screen from a pool of 100, Hard 30 from 150, and Extreme 30 from all 195 flags in the game, so the one you need can be hiding among Comoros, Kiribati and Saint Lucia. Each level includes every easier one, because a Rush run draws at random instead of working through a set.

Beating your best

Your best score for each level is kept on this device and shown on the level tile, in the clock bar during a run and on the results screen, which recaps every flag as found, found after misses or skipped. There are no learned bars here: the point is speed. To learn the flags themselves at your own pace, the Flag Quiz asks each one once with four names to choose from.
