About the Currency Note quiz

Name the country from its banknote

A banknote is shown and you pick the country that issues it from four options. The notes are the real designs, so the clues are the script, the portrait, the colour scheme and the denomination: a 100-dollar bill, a 1,000-yen note, a 500-rupee note. Once you answer, the currency and denomination are named and the country is placed on the map.

Two levels, 49 notes

Easy holds the 29 currencies you are most likely to have held: the US dollar, the yen, sterling, the rupee, the yuan, the won, the Mexican peso, the ruble, the Swiss franc, the rand, the lira, the riyal, the baht, the krona and the zloty among them. Medium holds the other 20, from the Australian and Canadian dollars and the Brazilian real to the Ghanaian cedi, the Kuwaiti dinar, the Georgian lari, the Cambodian riel and the Myanmar kyat. Each level asks every note once, ten a round, and misses come back at the end. The wrong options are drawn from countries of similar difficulty, not only from countries with a note in the game.
