Pico do Fogo is a 2,829-meter stratovolcano on Fogo island in the Cape Verde archipelago, approximately 570 km off the coast of West Africa. It is the highest point in Cape Verde and one of the most active volcanoes in the Atlantic Ocean, with eruptions in 1951, 1995, and most recently 2014-2015.
